Reimagining Property Sales with Scharp App

In property development, ambition fuels innovation. The drive to set records and close deals fast demands creativity, while the need to build trust calls for precision.

At Scharp, that balance shows up in the way we strive to evolve our visual solutions to meet our clients’ ambitions – and push beyond them. We enjoy asking, what if we could?

Naturally curious and focused on impact, our process seeks to consider what a buyer and an agent need to make a sale. We ask ourselves, what would help a customer really understand this space? What would allow them to picture their future life here? And what do they need in order to feel confident in a decision, even before anything has been built?

This is where virtual reality becomes powerful. Not the clunky headset kind. We’re talking immersive, intuitive, visual storytelling that makes unbuilt spaces feel real. Through interactive presentations, 360° VR tours and next-gen sales apps, we strive to close the gap between the imagined and the experienceable.

Our latest project for long-time client Far East Consortium, 640 Bourke St, is our best example yet. Their team wanted an app that would elevate the sales process and offer real value for agents. The result? A fully integrated sales tool that lets buyers move beyond flat floorplans into rich, realistic walkthroughs. Interactive touchpoints allow them to explore different layouts, swap finishes, shift perspectives, and view changing outlooks from multiple vantage points throughout the building.

Drawing on our curiosity, architectural eye and experience, we built in lighting transitions from dawn to dusk, showing how each apartment transforms throughout the day. We changed the lighting within each room, adjusting tone, shadow and ambience to reflect the real experience.

We’re proud of this project. But more than that, it’s sparked something else: a new wave of questions. What’s next? What else could we do?
