There are few industries outside development where the pay-off takes quite so long—so 2025 stands out as a memorable year for the completion of so many significant projects we first helped bring to life years ago.
This year in particular has marked an era of city-shaping change across Australia. Scharp is proud to have been involved from the outset on each of these landmark projects—often providing early tender visuals, community engagement renders and high-impact marketing imagery. It’s been a privilege to support leading architects, developers and government agencies as these concepts moved from vision to reality.
As more major precincts and infrastructure projects enter planning for 2026 and beyond, our early-stage visualisation support continues to be one of the most in-demand parts of our business.

MELBOURNE METRO
Melbourne has been swept up in a renewed sense of exploration with the opening of the new Metro Tunnel stations. Seeing the public experience these spaces for the first time has taken us back to the early visuals we created in collaboration with Capella Capital — work that helped communicate the project’s ambition to government and the community.
Our ongoing relationship with Capella has since extended to other city-shaping projects, including the North East Link, underscoring the long-term partnerships that continue to define our contribution to major infrastructure across Victoria.

QUEEN’S WHARF
One of Queensland’s most celebrated completions this year, Queen’s Wharf represents more than $3.6 billion in investment and years of collaboration. Scharp joined the project at the tender bid stage alongside Far East Consortium, Destination Brisbane Consortium, and international architects including Cottee Parker. From early visualisations through to marketing suites of imagery, our work has helped continually re-introduce this city-defining precinct to the public. In 2026, we’ll be unveiling new visuals to showcase the final release of Queen’s Wharf Tower

AMPA
A star-studded red-carpet event marked the opening of Melbourne’s newest cultural icon — the Australian Museum of Performing Arts (AMPA). Located within the Arts Centre precinct, the museum celebrates decades of performing arts history.
For us, the event was a reminder of the original concept visuals we developed in collaboration with Arts Centre Melbourne and Fender Katsalidis (FK) to help launch the project publicly and secure early stakeholder support.

NYAAL BANYUL GEELONG CONVENTION AND EVENT CENTRE
From its earliest stages, Nyaal Banyul required clear and compelling communication to bring stakeholders, decision-makers and the community along. Partnering with the Victorian Government and Woods Bagot, Scharp provided the tender and engagement visuals that shaped the project’s narrative and supported its progression into delivery — a strong example of the value of early visualisation on complex public projects.

NEW FOOTSCRAY HOSPITAL
As Melbourne’s west continues its rapid population growth, major civic infrastructure is rising to meet demand. The $1.5 billion New Footscray Hospital—one of several health projects we’ve visualised—is set to open on 18 February 2026. Although technically crossing into next year, its presence on the skyline makes it a proud inclusion in this retrospective.
As major city-shaping precincts gear up for design and tender phases in 2026, we’re already supporting teams with early visualisation packages. If your project is entering planning or community consultation, now is the ideal time to engage us early and contact us us today.
