The Wellington is a unique combination of contemporary inner Brisbane living and a rich provedore-style retail precinct on the ground plane. Our approach was to take the fresh retail style of the surrounding area and incorporate it into the brand with a chic contemporary twist. Use of stiched binding and textured cover paper with gloss black logo and terra cotta highlights formed the basis of the printed marketing collateral, whilst artistic chalkboard title taglines provided a unique take on the traditional marketing message. This sentiment, along with clever icons, stacked brick layouts and ribbon motifs was carried across into the website and display suite touchscreen.
