New Footscray Hospital
The Plenary Health consortium has started construction on the $1.5 billion new Footscray Hospital, which stands as the most significant healthcare infrastructure investment in Victoria’s history. The new hospital will add almost 200 beds, accommodating approximately 15,000 more patients annually, and allow the emergency department to serve about 20,000 additional individuals each year. Construction of the hospital is currently underway, and it is expected to open its doors in 2025.
Scharp played a crucial role in the comprehensive tender process by providing 3D visualisation collateral. This included 3D renders / CGIs, fly-through animations, video tracking animations, a build animation, and a movie. Despite facing challenges due to the restricted COVID work conditions, Scharp managed to deliver their 3D visualisation on time and with the utmost quality. Consequently, their efforts contributed to the bid’s success.
