West Side Place is an impressive residential and mixed-use development in the heart of Melbourne, Australia. It consists of four towers that redefine the city’s skyline, offering a range of luxurious living options. West Side Place offers retail and dining options within the precinct, with a variety of specialty stores, and gourmet restaurants available to both residents and visitors alike.
Scharp delivered the interactive Sales App for the launch of West Side Place Stage 2, partnering with Far East Consortium and YPM Group to create an all-encompassing digital sales tool. This versatile app is utilised both in the display suite and online, ensuring a seamless and consistent sales experience for customers, regardless of their location in Melbourne, interstate, or overseas. Our app technology was selected once again by Far East Consortium based on the outstanding performance of apartment sales for their Queens Wharf Tower project in Brisbane. Lauren Sheldon, Sales and Marketing Director for Far East Consortium, commended our apps stating, “Scharp’s impressive app for Queens Wharf Tower simplified the sales process so effectively that we decided to adopt the same approach for West Side Place.”
Midwater offers stunning views of Main Beach, presenting elegant apartments with contemporary designs and luxurious amenities. These residences cater to various needs, accommodating families and single professionals alike. Despite the obstacles caused by the pandemic and construction delays, the remarkable sales performance of Midwater Residences proves its allure and the high demand for top-notch housing in the area.
Scharp developed a comprehensive set of tools for the sales campaign, including various 3D visualisation of the amenities and apartments, as well as a sales app for display suite. These tools empowered sales agents to secure the sale of 80% of the residences before construction began. As part of our innovative solution, the Scharp team captured aerial photography and video to incorporate as backgrounds in our 3D renders and fly-through animations. The sales app showcased these visuals alongside level photography and floorplans, allowing prospective buyers to thoroughly assess and ultimately purchase their preferred apartments.

Scharp effectively portrayed the essence of the Atelier brand by prioritizing quality whilst ensuring a straightforward and user-friendly sales process. Instead of relying on a physical model within the display suite, Scharp’s app presented a digital 360-degree 3D model, along with location details, design renders, and level view photography. This comprehensive digital toolkit equipped YPM Group’s sales agents with everything they needed to successfully market Atelier as a high-end luxury residential project.
The team at Scharp worked closely with Lucent to create high-end 3D visualisation that accurately captured the essence of the 121 Chomley Street townhouses and their luxurious fittings and finishes. The comprehensive all-in-one sales app played a critical role in the display suite and offered the sales agents additional interactive tools in their sales arsenal. Virtual reality hot spots transported the buyer directly into the development and allowed them to interact with the spaces themselves.
“Every single project in our property portfolio reflects the quality we strive for at Lucent, and 121 Chomley Street is no different. We needed a suite of high-end 3D visualisation that encapsulated the imagination and insight evident in these incredible townhouses, and Scharp’s work exceeded all expectations. The marketing renders, animettes, and 360 virtual tour of the townhouses really brought the project to life and allowed potential buyers to experience first-hand what day-to-day life will be like at 121 Chomley.” Panos Miltiadou, Managing Director, Lucent Group.
