We’re pleased to share our work for the $1.7 billion Melbourne Arts Centre upgrade announced by the Victorian Government today. We produced a number of CGI renders and a 3D fly-through animation of the NH Architecture designed precinct and Snøhetta designed refurbishment of Theatres Building.
The refurbishment of the State Theatre will be the first since it’s construction in 1984 and will modernise accessibility for patrons as well as production with upgrades to lighting and sound systems. Major upgrades to the loading docks will see the aging single lift expanded to two new loading docks.

A new restaurant and café will be constructed at the end of the new 18,000sqm elevated park. This new public realm is set to host major festivals and public art exhibitions while connecting with the new NGV Contemporary gallery set for construction at 77 Southbank Boulevard in Southbank.

We are delighted with the finished result and and proud to have worked on such an iconic Melbourne landmark and look forward to seeing our visualisations brought to life.
