We’re pleased to share our renders for the North East Link Program Urban Design and Landscape Plan (UDLP) for public exhibition.
Linking the M80 Ring Road, Eastlink and the Eastern Freeway, the project will be the largest ever infrastructure project in Melbourne. The North East Link will take 15,000 trucks off local roads every day and reduce travel times by 35 minutes.
Scharp worked to revise designs based off initial community feedback and create additional images for the new landscape plan. Longer 6.5km tunnels to Watsonia, a new tree-lined Greensborough Road boulevard and new open spaces were implemented along with other changes. The renders will be used as part of a community consultation process before construction begins.

Both helicopter and drone video footage and photography were utilised, into which Scharp expertly inserted the proposed North-East Link works to create a seamless imagery of 30 images
The North East Link has an expected completion in 20272028 at a cost of $10 billion with construction in some segments already begun. We look forward to seeing this projects completion and working again with Capella Capital.
The construction of the Midwater Apartment Tower is expected to be completed in the coming months, and residents can look forward to taking possession of their new homes soon.
