Scharp VCAT Success with 111 Brighton Road, Elwood

Scharp is pleased to announce another success at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. We recently assisted the applicant in its permit application alongside Port Phillip City Council for its proposed development at 111 Brighton Road, Elwood. Working closely with Williams Boag Architects and Contour Consultants, Scharp produced two views of the new development, from viewpoints on Brighton Rd (Nepean Highway) and Milton Street.

Scharp prepared a Visual Amenity Statement in conjunction with Best Hooper Solicitors, Williams Boag Architects and Contour Consultants outlining the methodology that went in to creating the photomontages, as well as ‘Before’ and ‘After’ variations of each of the 2 photomontage views.

The development received the successful ruling at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal on 17th September 2012, and was unanimously granted a permit as it was successful on all counts.
