Scharp is now delivering Samsung Gear VR Headset Apps
This year Scharp has introduced our new 360 degree immersive Virtual Reality Apps for Samsung Gear VR Headsets. We have developed a way to showcase exterior and interior spaces in a virtual environment that is so totally immersive you feel that you’re standing within the space.
Scharp has developed these apps to be interactive and cost effective. We have produced apps for exhibition purposes and display suites where you want to add some point of difference as well as the practical ability to bring rooms to life, literally “off the plan”.
Recently we have built in 3D and rendered interior spaces for the new design of the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre for use at IMEX 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany. We produced 3D images and fly-throughs as well as fully immersive VR spaces where you can turn and look around in the newly designed exhibition spaces.
Scharp has also built 3D interior spaces for the living, kitchen and bathroom designs of Manhattan Terraces, West End. Traditionally, clients can only see how the spaces will look with the use of Computer Generated 3D Images (CGIs) in brochures or fly-through animations on the web or in the display suite. Now with the Samsung VR Gear headsets, all of this has changed. People can truly experience and really get to feel the dimensions of the space with the use of our fully immersive virtual reality (VR) apps. They can interactively change the colour schemes of the spaces as well as go from room to room just by looking at the next room button.
We’re excited by the possibilities of working with Samsung Gear VR Headsets as it is futuristic technology made relatively simple for a range of end users. Just click on the app, plug your Samsung phone into the headset, put it on and you are in a 3D world of your own that really does take you out of the space you are currently in. Unlike some other expensive technology about to hit the market, with Samsung Gear VR you are able to actually move and turn around in all directions rather than be tethered to a computer. As mobile phones get more powerful processors and better resolution, this technology will truly be the mobile VR experience that you just have to use.
