Meriton release Kiara & Harry Triguboff announced Australia’s most wealthy

Meriton Group’s owner and founder, Harry Triguboff, was named overnight as Australia’s richest person by BRW with $10.62 billion wealth. Mr Triguboff has made the Rich 200 list every year since its inception in 1983 but tops the list in 2016 for the first time as the resources boom slows and the real estate market surges.


Meriton, Australia’s largest apartment developer, has again shown its finger is firmly on the pulse of the residential property market in Sydney with its latest development, Kiara at Mascot, selling out its first release of 110 luxury apartments in just a few hours.

Meriton owner and managing director Harry Triguboff says the sell-out, worth more than $100 million shows that buyers have twigged to the enormous potential of Mascot.

“We have long believed in Mascot and the Kiara success is just the latest illustration of our faith in the area.”


Kiara, the newest addition to the Meriton Mascot portfolio at 1-5 Kent Road, will be an elegant three-tower, 13-level development of 233 stylish oversized apartments. Designed by award winning architects Turner, and brought to life off-the-plan by Scharp.

Scharp delivered all creative for Meriton’s Kiara campaign, from brand identity, printed collateral, 3D visualisation and marketing collateral to the display suite and interactive touchscreen.

To create deeper engagement with the campaign from people visiting the display suite, Scharp delivered an interactive touchscreen presentation from which potential buyers can take a tour of the development.


3D floorplans were developed for use with the touchscreens so interested parties can select their own apartment – literally off the plan.

Scharp worked with Meriton to design a unique campaign for Kiara, culminating in a display suite to sell the development to prospective buyers. Printed marketing collateral, lifestyle images, 3D images and interactive displays worked together in the space to inspire confidence in the project’s developer and suppliers.


Mr Triguboff forecasts that Meriton will sell $1.2 billion worth of apartments in 2016, proof that he’s earned his industry nickname “high rise Harry”.
